This song was inspired by The Chemical Brothers. I wanted to have a lot of heavy guitar w/FX, a pumping beat, and lots of different sounds that bounce around that simple structure. This tune was one of my first eye openers to what I was trying to create....Love this jam! 

Dark Ages

This is the first song from the new EP (Celestial Trance) out of five: All systems are a Go, SETI, Alien Rhythm, Celestial Trance, and Black Hole. I loved the way it came together and how the different sounds bounce all around the sonic picture. It was truly a pleasure and fun to work with. The mastering is much better this round and can be seen just by the waveforms. I hope you enjoy and peace!!!

All Systems are a GO!

This is the first song for my new album "My Machine World". The concept behind this song is simple. I'm the creator, but I also believe, like the Native Americans, that there is a creator of all things in the universe. So it has a duel meaning behind it. I just happen to believe that nothing can exist, be it music, art, idea's, without a creator behind it. Anyway, I'm not preaching by any means just sharing a piece of who I am with the world.

This entire album is meant to be listened to from start to finish as each of the 9 tracks bleed into each other. Some tracks fade into the other while other tracks just jump right in seamlessly. The actual CD has this feature, however; you will have to bear in mind (streaming) that there is a slight pause between tracks. 

I will be releasing the CD sometime in March, if all goes well. Like with every song on this album (and the 8 songs that follow) every sound is virtually created using either Sculpture or Ultrabeat in Logic 9. THERE ARE NO SAMPLES FROM OTHER ARTISTS!!! These are original creations from my mind and I hope you enjoy them. Until next time -Peace!

This track has a duel meaning. 

The first part signifies that I am the composer, or creator (if you will) of this music. I actually manufactured each and every sound myself using Ultrabeat and Synthesis working within Logic 9. The bass drum, snare, hi-hat, all of it started off being a simple tone, and I converted it into what you hear playing.  

Second, I believe there is a Creator. Whether an individual choses to label this Creator a God, Being, Higher Power, Alien, Allah, or some other fancy adjective, it is purely subjective in nature. My thoughts: If there exists lesser lifeforms than myself, then it is also logical to conclude there are higher beings as well.  

Ryan Getsie (DJ Psychosix) was born on September 29, 1974 in Lancaster, PA.  He has been a musician for nearly 27 years. Ryan’s passion for music began as a percussionist at age 10 and his early success inspired him to learn guitar and bass as well.  Currently, he is an electronic composer, DJ, and music producer.  His work includes composition for video games, radio, television, and film.  

Ryan was awarded the Course Director Award at Full Sail University for advanced music theory and music composition programming (September 2012), having completed his Bachelor of Science Degree in Music Production. His passion, attention to detail, and work ethic drive his ambition for success. 

Ryan lives in Las Vegas, Nevada where he continues to produce modern and cutting edge compositions. He seeks new opportunities to share his passion for music and the electronic arts with like minded people.
