Nik Baeten, better known by his stage name NIBAT, is a techno DJ and producer with a deep-rooted passion for the genre that dates back to his early teenage years. Starting at the age of 12, Nik was already experimenting with records and tapes, building a foundation that would lead him to a lifelong journey in electronic music. By 18, he was organizing local parties and taking to the decks himself, gradually establishing his name in the scene through countless all-round gigs and underground events.

Over the years, NIBAT’s dedication and drive led him to share the stage with prominent acts like Bonzai All Stars, Yves Deruyter, Tomaz, TLP, Discobar a Moeder, Discobar Galaxie, Laston & Geo, and more. His career highlights include performing at packed club nights and electrifying festivals for crowds of up to 5,000 people.

Influenced by techno legends like Jeff Mills, Ben Sims, and Dave Clarke, NIBAT’s sound is a testament to the rich heritage of the genre. His sets are both high-energy and versatile, reflecting the diversity of styles he encountered in his early years, blending elements from various genres to create a unique, personal twist on classic techno.
