“I have a shared vision with my label partner Benjamin,” kinj0 relates, “about Rhizome—which is to elevate it to a platform where upcoming producers could share their work, get exposure, and contribute to the ever-growing musical community. Personally in my productions, that vision has yet to materialize since now I’m just running on auto-pilot and making music I feel like making, without any set path or style.

“I’ve noticed an occasional lean towards functionality over quantity, removing the excess elements, making sure things work as they should first, then worrying about how they look. I guess it’s a result of the music i like, which tends to be more minimal sounding, but yet it can be a wonderful driving force on the dancefloor.

“Something tells me we are about to start seeing productions powered by AI engines. Don’t necessarily think it will sound good for my taste, but i see that happening in about 5-7 years.
