The Reed Fags is a fresh n' juicy indie band from Western Finland, born in 2011. The band was originally founded by Jaakko Salonen and Jussi Tiainen who were joined by Pyry Vuorela and Mathias Hermansson a bit later. The band draws inspiration from various styles and scenes of music (basically all good music there is. ever.) which forms a base for their unique and curious mixture of sounds. The band's music has been compared to the likes of Vampire Weekend, Rubik and Django Django. Notable characteristics in the band's music are soaring, 3-men vocal harmonies, playful instrumentations and arrangements and the use of way too much delay and way too many keyboards. 
The band has won the Turku Bandstand of 2012 and is currently signed to Lionheart Records.
