After erupting on to the UK metal scene Athura have worked tirelessly to hone their sound and punishing performance. The arrival of their debut album 'A Hand in Death's Design' in July 2012 is set to be a game changer for the band.
Athura deliver a fusion of powerful melody, gut wrenching groove and sophisticated harmony. Hoping to expand to an international audience Athura is a band that should not be missed.

Direct Audio Studios was founded by Lee Mitchell (engineer) in 2012. The studio was located in Saltash, Cornwall. But since we have relocated to London. We offer a flat by project rate. Meaning we charge by song rather than by the hour, assuring that the best product will be captured without rush and deadlines. Also meaning the customer gets more value for their money. The studio has an welcoming and intimate atmosphere, guaranteeing a comfortable yet professional recording experience.
