My music is an experimental approach to Cosmic-Underground-Electronic-Spiritual-Lyrical-Hip-Hop.
I was born in the San Francisco Bay Area & came down to LA for acting & music & to rid myself of the demons I have created inside during a tumultuous life.
I also seek to help the earth along the way with wild thoughts & inventions & Universal Love.
My Children, Alex & Kadie, help me stay level, they are the batteries my life.
But the entire Cosmos, we are all one energy combined.

Music is EXTREMELY INFLUENTIAL as a communication device. It is the most commonly used language throughout the Garden of Universes.
Hence it is the, "Universal Language."

Rhythm & Dub started at Illinois State University during a late night session in 2004. Kenny Z picked up a guitar and started strumming the groove to "Feather" while he was sitting next to a chick named Heather. Matthew Kynd, engulfed within the groove, started singing the infamous hook. "Step outside light as a feather. Look around for my girl Heather." 


Influenced by anything headnodic, Rhythm & Dub decided to lace acoustic beats with electronic vibrations providing an outlet for concise rhymes of life and love.

Simply put, Rhythm & Dub is Hip-Hop Electro with a Touch of the Blues.

Born and raised on the SOUTHSIDE of CHICAGO!! I have produced and written most of my music using Ableton, samples, my APC40, and other midi boards/controllers. I also mix and master all my own tracks, which is why they may not sound perfect sometimes.  Hailing from Chicago (a melting pot of music) I try to incorporate many different genres into my music. I am constantly trying to accomplish bigger and better things with music. ALWAYS trying to evolve and become a better musician.  I started bringing my beats to the stage in June of 2012 and have since shared the stages with such acts as: Eliot Lipp, Jazzsteppa, Indigo Sun, Kobrakai, Shapes&Colors, The Kynd, Nebulas Beyond, Orville Kline, Dirty Wizardry, Vapor Eyes, and others.
