Dusky present their rework of Trance Wax’s ‘Northern Sky’. Available now on Anjunabeats.

Dusky are London-based producers Alfie Granger-Howell and Nick Harriman. Their association with Anjuna goes back over a decade. Their debut album ‘Stick By This’ – released in 2011 – was Pete Tong’s album of the year.

Their long-awaited second album ‘Outer’ was released on Polydor in 2016 and included collaborations with Gary Numan, Wiley and Solomon Grey. They now release almost exclusively on their own 17 Steps imprint, championing music from the likes of Bwana (aka Nathan Micay), Third Son, Polymod and Velvit.

Their remix of 'Northern Sky' follows their rework of Gerd Janson and Catz 'n Dogz's 'Modern Romance', released on Running Back Records in April 2021.

Trance Wax is an alias of Belfast-born producer Garry McCartney, also known as Ejeca. Celebrating the music he fell in love with as a teenager, his Trance Wax project began as an anonymous series of vinyl-only bootlegs back in 2015. Garry’s lovingly crafted edits of classics from Yves Deyurter, BT and Mauro Picotto became peak-time anthems for Bicep, Nina Kraviz, Denis Sulta, The Blessed Madonna and Job Jobse to name a few. A BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix followed soon after.

Two Trance Wax edits of Above & Beyond’s much-loved OceanLab project were released on Anjunabeats in 2019, with the debut Trance Wax album following in November 2020.

Tokyo producer @satoshi-fumi makes his debut on Rhythm Cult for his latest EP 'Eternal Refrain'. Satoshi's music is elegantly dance-centric, with nuanced rhythm work and beautifully layered melodies that are supported by club-ready energy and dynamics.
