Based in Madison, WI, Kitty Spit got her start DJing with the Foshizzle crew a few moons ago.

Moved by the sounds of well-loved Detroit warehouses and Chicago clubs, her selections run the gamut from spaced-out dubs to filthy ghetto-tech and deep electro steppers, and if you catch her outside on a breezy summer night, you might even hear a classic diva-house jam you forgot about.

2022 has been busy so far for her, helping throw parties with the Jams crew and Remain in Night series in Madison, regularly mowing down dance floors for Pulse in Milwaukee, and even a return appearance at the Great Beyond festival in July.

Today, hyperconected communities, AI-driven processes, quantum computer clusters and socio-cultural progress share their time and space with ghosts of the past, geopolitical spasms and gestures of profound violence. In a time when we seek new definitions, what constitutes a territory? What does a map show/ explain? What are we and what are the boundaries of who we want to be?

Romanian-born, Berlin-based Cosmin Nicolae and Simina Oprescu ask questions of a diasporic tone, in a sonorous quest to map out issues and entertain reflection. Australian-born, Berlin-based artist Michael Tan tackles norms using generative, traditional and emerging technologies providing the visual component of the Map x Territory experience. 

Simina Oprescu is a composer and multidisciplinary artist from Bucharest, Romania. She graduated the Dynamic Image and Photography Department at the Bucharest National University of Arts and studied at the department of acousmatic composition at the Royal Conservatory of Mons (Belgium) for one year. She is currently residing in Berlin, continuing her studies at the UdK’s M.A - Sound Studies and Sonic Arts.

Cosmin Nicolae is an anti-disciplinary artist working with image, sound, text to produce works of intimate reflection at the intersection of autoethnography, psychogeography and possible futures. Solid Steel (26th October) In Hour 1 we welcome Bambounou, a key figure in the Parisian scene, has gained his position from his genre bending and jubilant electronic music productions and laying down solid freight train DJ sets around the globe. His effortless straddling of experimental eclecticism and 4x4 beat mastery helped Bambounou to early on catch the eye of Modeselektor, whose 50Weapons released two albums and five EPs of his axiom breaking dance incantations. His last EP 'Parametr Perkusja' came out on Disk and he had this to say;
"Hey everyone, this is a mix I did in my studio in Paris, I put up some tracks that I like playing and listening to at the moment, I hope you are going to enjoy it, now i’m about to hit the gym and have a big breakfast after that cause I need the carbs (i’m already working on my summer body and its october !!! GET MOTIVATED).
If you listen carefully you will notice that I played one of my new track, Terraforming is no easy, which I did for a compilation for one of my favorite artist : Mumdance they are as well 3 other tracks from me including my remix for a very talented french artist : BLNDR.

The Lisbon-based artist, honcho of the naive & naivety labels, co-founder of Rádio Quântica ánd co-organizer of a queer event series called mina is one the main faces of Lisbon's exciting and blooming underground music scene.

Her mix is a textbook example of elegant and controlled chaos, going from electro to bass to rave, leaving us on a high tension for 60 minutes. We couldn't close the year any better if you'd ask us.
