Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, @SteenSchmidt is a house and techno DJ, blues rock guitar player, and singer.

He has performed in clubs, bars, and toured statewide as a guitar player. He has recorded as a songwriter, guitarist, and singer since he was 13 years young. Along with clubbing since he was 18, Steen is familiar with the NYC underground scene.

Years later in 2020, he began djing house parties, and clubs around Brooklyn including Happyfun Hideaway, SILO, Bossa Nova Civic Club, Rash, and many more. Steen hosts open decks at SILO for about 2 years and at Happyfun Hideaway for over 3 years, in which he collaborates with many local DJs to help many beginner DJs get experience or get used to playing live. His party series Debauch has featured artists Frankie Bones, Kush Jones, Concrete Husband, S'aint Panic, Alissa Brianna, SPF50, MZ3, and more at various underground venues.

His DJ performances range from classic, deep and tech house to raw, deep, hypnotic and hard techno, along with elements of electro and breaks.
