Born in taranto (south Italy), Angelo Matera in art Dr.Mechanic, producer and DJ, he starts from the age of 9 years with a passion for black music, break dance and graffiti, up to 11 years old when he transfers to live in Modena (northern Italy). At 16, he founded with two friends the "T3a connection" hip hop group and collaborates with artists of the local scene. In 2006, as he left the Mixtape "Connection_vol?" which is enjoying great success, he participate in the "Valva scratch" where did the top 10 DJ's! In 2008 he created together with other 4 members of the "Jimmy Splif Sound" where in addition to open and create evenings along with national and international artists of reggae and hip hop, participates in the Mortal Kombat Clash! Dr.Mechanic continues with a passion for music, looking at all the ways to make it available and accessible to all.
