Background announces a series of tracks, with periodical releases, on Ribbon Recordings. The selected tracks reflect the style of the events organized by Background at the Ribbon Club. The first release will be "Call The People" by Alessio Pagliaroli. The single features a guest appearance from Jerome Stokes (vocals). The duo Pagliaroli-Stokes is not a new one, as they have already realized a vinyl record for the Berliner Moodmusic, which has received a considerable success among the djs around the world.
The style of the label will be outlined by releases that range from electronic house to techno. Two versions by Alessio Pagliaroli, the techno remix by Spencer Parker completes the package. His presence says a lot about the sound of this new series.

BIOGRAPHY Music lover, in the 90s he was fascinated by the new electronic sounds, especially by Techno. These are the years in which radio is the most popular means of spreading musical culture and several programs broadcast the DJ sets that animate the rave scene throughout Europe. So he begins to record them on tape, which then will be of great help and then find them on vinyl. For him, the great DJs of the American school of Detroit, such as Jeff Mills and the UR and labels such as Axis, Plus 8 (to name a few), are inspiration for him, up to the European scene with Sven Vath, Luke Slater and others. He takes his first steps in Catania, where for over 15 years he has offered his sets in various local clubs, but above all he prefers the undergorund scene, and not only in Italy. Also in the Etna capital he was among the founders of the Rewind Crew, promoter of the two Street Parades (2006 and 2007) and countless parties around Sicily. His sets embrace the most diverse sounds, from American to European, trying to create a cohesion and a unitary structure that accompanies the listener.
