A Miami–based DJ and music curator. Inspired by my time in London, New York and South Florida, I blend organic, deep and hypnotic sounds into sets that move bodies into another dimension. I’ve ignited sunset beach and boat parties on Biscayne Bay and brought my grooves to Love Burn’s Sky Bar, Lunarcrats, Banana Hammocks and Gay Village. I also craft custom mixes inspired by friends, moments and places, all to connect people through rhythm, spark joy, evoke love and uplift spirits long after the last beat.

House music has been the heartbeat of my life.
Born in the ‘80s, raised on dance floors — electronic music has always been part of my story. I learned to mix in LA back in 2009, surrounded by the city’s deep house energy and underground grooves.

Since then, I've played everywhere from art galleries to rooftop bars, auction shows to late-night sessions — always chasing that perfect connection between sound and people.

I'm not a producer yet — just a lifelong music lover who finds joy in blending tracks and sharing vibes.

A recognized figure in new music and leading interpreter of American composers, pianist Adam Tendler has performed the complete major piano works of Aaron Copland, and collaborates with the John Cage Trust and Edition Peters in presenting Cage’s work internationally.

Between 2005 and 2006, Tendler appeared in all fifty United States in a grassroots touring initiative that he called America 88x50. The tour became the subject of his memoir, 88x50, which was a Kirkus Indie Book of the Month and was nominated for a Lambda Literary Award.

Tendler has recorded performances and masterclasses for the digital music platform, Tido, and recently released the premiere recording of Edward T. Cone’s 21 Little Preludes for piano. His forthcoming album of piano works by Robert Palmer will appear on New World Records in 2019.

DJ/Producer Matt Effect is an established performer who has been spinning for many varied events, since starting in his hometown of Sydney, Australia. Matt is becoming one of the most recognizable and sought after DJ's after his 2010 and 2012 tours through the United States. Matt has played at several international events including San Francisco Pride, Sydney Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras, Southern Hibearnation (Melbourne, AUS), LAZY BEAR (Guerneville, CA), Up Your Alley from Folsom Street Events (San Francisco, CA), Bear Essentials (Sydney, AUS), Bearracuda (San Francisco, Seattle, Portland, Sydney, Melbourne, Auckland), Vancouver Pride, Bear Week (Provincetown, MA), Bear Market (Guerneville, CA), and Bear New Zealand (Auckland, NZ). 

Not many DJ's come along that show such versatility in their work quite like Matt Effect. His work ranges over many different styled events, to not shy away in the background but yet to stand out as one of the big guns. Which has developed him a great reputation not only for his music, but his dedication towards all his work.

Matt performs at some amazing parties and locations but he caters very well to all crowds, events, groups and age-brackets. He does play a lot of heavily male dominated parties, but is also very popular with mainstream events, leather scene and day parties.
