M-Drone was created by me, ‘Ric / Tec Daddy’, using a mixture of tracks, STEM files and samples.
A Stem file is an open, multi-channel audio file that contains a track split into four musical elements – bass, drums, vocals, and melody for example.
For anyone that may know any of the original tracks in this mix, you will hear what I have done to them. Some have subtle changes; others are more complete re edits. I have put my own unique stamp on them and they will not be heard anywhere else like this.

From an early age I’ve loved music; isn’t that the case for most of us here on soundcloud?
Born and growing up in Hackney I got exposed to & influenced by all kinds of music. I still love and listen to all kinds of music, but feel that most of the new sounds and excitement is still coming out of the Dance/ Club /Electronic scenes. This is where most of my listening time is spent now.
 
Although I’ve been making music and playing with whatever cheap electronics I could get my hands on from the age of sixteen. I never released anything to the public, shamefully leaving a hundred or so cheaply produced and unfinished bedroom masterpieces sitting on tape/ minidisc and now computer!

A similar story is true with mixing really. After many years of making compilation tapes and CD’s for myself and friends to listen too on late night drives. The next natural progression dawned on me late in my music life, to actually start mixing them! I’ve six or so recorded sets in the bag now, and I’m loving the process!
