James Burt (aka Maverick 85) is a Synthwave Artist, multi-instrumentalist and music producer. He played drums and guitar in successful metal bands for two decades before discovering Synthwave. Combining this fresh genre with an undying passion for 80's pop and disco, Maverick 85 was born, and 'Swallowed By The Machine' is his second EP.

Maverick 85 is an advocate for Mental Health Awareness and actively engages in the Mental Health Community in order to raise awareness of mental and emotional health issues - an aspect of life that affects each and every one of us.
