The mansion in our town


One street down from the shopping street is the mansion in our town.

However, I've never seen anyone enter or leave through that gate.

There's no nameplate on the gate of the house.
I've never seen lights on at night.

I don't know of any horrific murders there in the past or anything like that.


There're several sukiya-style houses and a vast garden.
Does no one live here or is there some special circumstance?

After all, I'm not from this town, no matter how many years I live here.

I guess those who should know know and those who don't don't need to know.


The mansion is neither old nor suspicious in any way.
But there is no sign of people at all. 
It is a common but peaceful town, no one talks about the mansions.

I don't know this town well enough to fabricate a ghost story.

I don't know of any horrific murders there in the past or anything like that.
