たいせつ Taisetsu / PICG [クールドジ男子 Cool Doji Danshi ED 2]

(ENG) Serendipity is an English word that means a happy discovery made by chance, and that's why I gave this melody that name. I was experimenting with arpeggios, the successive playing of notes in a chord, when I discovered a very beautiful, orchestral theme. I started playing around this theme by improvising on the piano and soon I had created a composition full of challenges adding some more sound effects. It was something that made me thoughtful and energized, plunging my mind into an intense peace and full of beauty. I hope you feel the same when listening to Serendipity.
(PtBr) Serendipity é uma palavra em inglês que significa uma feliz descoberta feita por acaso, e é por isso que dei esse nome a essa melodia. Eu estava experimentando arpejos, a execução sucessiva de notas em um acorde, quando descobri um tema orquestral muito bonito. Comecei a brincar com esse tema improvisando no piano e logo criei uma composição cheia de desafios acrescentando mais alguns efeitos sonoros. Foi algo que me deixou pensativo e energizado, mergulhando minha mente em uma paz intensa e cheia de beleza. Espero que você sinta o mesmo ao ouvir Serendipity.

Space Study - Particles

Sometimes we lose those we've loved the most. As I write this (in October/November 2023) it's beyond painful to witness the scenes of grief and loss countless others are experiencing in our world in wars, seemingly, without end - where the powerless always suffer the most. It makes any attempt to give voice to one's own personalised sense of loss seem self indulgent. But in the hope that one grief observed, though only a drop in an ocean, can add something to the pool of human sympathy at a time when it's so sorely needed - a song of farewell:

"And so the final scene
Where fancies all are slowly stripped away
Who knows what might have been
Had fate been kinder to our dreams
But no regrets - our hearts were true
And in the end it's all that matters
Old friend adieu - I'll wait for you
Somewhere beyond the blue"

each piece of music I record has a purpose, a reason for existing. When I try to record a new piece and there is no story behind it, it comes out flat. When there is a reason behind it the emotion is released. One area of my life is painful and hard to overcome is caused by my family. Family is supposed to love you and care if you are dead or alive. I don't thInk mine does. But whatever their reason is, that reason is based on a period of time we can't undo - and it is just a shot of time. Each of us goes through many phases and we change with every one. who we were as children - our education and relationships _ and our roles as parent, grandparents, and much more. we change constantly. If you don't try to know and understand the people you are connected to, you miss a lot. 

I am making a video to go with this. The title - Lest we Forget - will be filled with photographs of the childhood I shared with my sisters. I think it is important that we don't throw away parts of our lives because of whatever grudge they hold against me. That I do not understand. I have to learn to let this go, so this is my last attempt to communicate with them using part me that matters. It has taken my entire life too become who I am now. Who are they? They can throw this in the trash if they want, but at least I tried.
