Vandelor is an organic house producer from Peru, known for his unique and inventive style. With his experimental approach to production and infectious rhythms, his other side project called Stranger Tourists releases great tracks under various labels.

BIO:
Vandelor is an emerging Producer/DJ from Lima, Perú.
He has been making waves in the scene with releases in well-known labels like All Day I Dream, Souksonic and Ruvenzori, just to name a few.
He started experimenting with Progressive House and later on found his true territory in styles like Organic House, Afro House and Melodic House.
In a short time, his music had the support of great artists of the scene such as Hernán Cattáneo, Lee Burridge, Lost Desert, Izhevski, MODD, David Hôhme, Amonita & Makebo, Igor Marijuan, amongst others.

>> Opened by the stunning orchestral strings that lit up Timo Camillo's 2008 "Teadrops" EP for Particles, the title track from Kobana's Proton Music album, "The Riddle", quickly takes shape followed by stand out contributions from Andre Sobota: the iconic "One Day Out", remixed by Proton progenitor, Sandji, and Proton Music favourite, Ryan Davis, with his 2010 interpretation of the sublime, "Red Dust". Sobota later takes on remix duties himself for Tvardovsky and Marc Mitchell and Steve T, to showcase a timely reminder of Brazilian magic. Particles regular, Ferdy, makes a trio of contributions including a remix from rising Australian star, Verve, while a plethora of deep house classics from the Apollo imprint see Artette, Loz Goddard, and Ellroy make significant contributions. No compilation would be complete without a clutch of offerings from Curtis himself as the Queenslander's remix of French star Loac Erepams in 2013, is followed by an exquisite reworking of "Dead Mophead" from Greek superstar, Dousk in the same year, before Rich's original mix of "Safety Thirst" rounds off a superlative collection of tracks

We welcome about : river for the eighty-ninth edition of the 'Deep In Mix' series.  

"about : river" is a unique melodic electronic music project from Estonia, born from the creative synergy between a father and son duo, Oleg Ivanov and Ervin Ivanov. Through their artistry, they prove that age difference is not a barrier to creativity or friendship. Their performances are brimming with energy and depth, and their creations narrate dynamic and sometimes even epic stories, creating an unforgettable atmosphere.

The inception of the project dates back to 2018 when Oleg first conceived the idea. The following year marked a significant turning point as his 12-year-old son, Ervin, eagerly joined the project. Originally a clarinet and keyboard player, Ervin quickly evolved into a dedicated contributor to the project. His influence is palpable in both live performances and the creative process. Their work has found a home in esteemed labels such as Proton, Nie Wieder Schlafen, Sound Avenue, Oleeva, Particles, Everything Will Be OK, The Purr, Where The Shadow Ends, Suprematic, Dream Culture, Pillbox, RYNTH, and others. Since first emerging, the duo's fresh style has continued to delight both their fans and contemporaries, with the world's premier electronic music tastemakers championing their work.

Oleg reflects on their creative process: "When we start with a new song, we have no idea what it will be when ready; even the genre is hard to predict. We try to go with the flow, not chasing any specific result or sound. I have a mindset that whatever direction it will go, it is the right one for the moment it is composed. With exceptions, of course; if it doesn’t sound right, we tend to throw it away." Their productions, set in a dance-groove environment, tell dynamic and sometimes epic stories. As they continue to innovate, Oleg and Ervin Ivanov remain a captivating force, inspiring audiences and fellow musicians alike.  Enjoy the mix!
