No One Gets Out Alive by Christine Anne Borra FT Michael Lusk

A SONG FOR EASTER
For Immediate Release – April 10, 2017 
[Nashville, TN, USA] – When New Zealand songwriter Christine Ann Borra got the inspiration to write a new song she was moved to write a song based on the Easter holiday.  Borra’s thought-provoking song takes us from the day of the Crucifixion and the days that followed, to how those events impact our modern-day lives and way of thinking.
	The song titled “No One Gets Out Alive” was sent to Nashville publisher and producer, Dick McVey who made a few minor changes and he presented it to Michael Lusk a well-known Nashville musician / singer, who added his touch to the song.  The collaboration of Borra, McVey and Lusk has resulted in a powerful and moving song sure to make you listen and think.

	Christine Anne Borra’s love of country and Gospel music led her to learning to play guitar at age 15, and that stimulated her to begin writing her own songs.  She sought help with her craft utilizing the skills of local songwriting coach Charlotte Yates and international songwriting tutor Pat Pattison from Berklee.  She also joined the Nashville Songwriters Association (NSAI) and embarked on a musical adventure traveling from New Orleans to Chicago soaking up the different styles of America music. According to Borra, “No One Gets Out Alive” was inspired by the strong imagery of Easter and Christine's personal experience with wanting to seize each moment of life.  She hopes it inspires others to live life as Christ did – without fear of going to other side.
	Dick McVey is an award-winning Nashville producer whose credits include working with a number of major artists.  A 35 year veteran of Nashville’s music business scene, he wears many hats including that of being a BMI publisher, producer, engineer, musician and publicist. 	Michael Lusk is a well-known singer whose background spans a spectrum of country and Christian artists.  He is currently bass guitarist, background vocalist and duet partner for country legend Loretta Lynn.  He was also a featured singer with the Billy Graham Crusades.
