These Dark Hours

A New Neighbour

One of the earliest-ever Crimescene tracks (circa 1995). Although it makes extensive use of digital sampling, there was no sequencing involved, and it was recorded and mixed down on tape. Digitally remastered now by Richard Feren, it remains a seminal Crimescene piece, despite its crude production.

The Monk's Tale

My first full feature film score was for the Daniel MacIvor film PAST PERFECT, released in 2002. The opening title music introduced the recurring themes that I derived loosely from the traditional Christmas song "What Is This Fragrance" (a recording of it was used at the end).
