The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere a new track from Brutalismus 3000. One of our favorite Berlin projects returns with a new track on the upcoming DURCH v/a compilation: Solidarity 002 - A Love Letter To The Queer Community. DURCH is a queer collective with a clear vision of solidarity and community building. DURCH operates in Tel Aviv and Berlin trying to bring queer people together, building a culture of inclusion, diversity and tolerance. In the tradition of original raves DURCH organizes solidarity events ranging from parties, to art and community events, with the strong belief that raves are a much needed place for people to come together, celebrate their diversity and learn to respect each other.

After releasing their first v/a earlier in the year, The are back with their second solidarity release of the year: Bolder, queerer and definitely more fun than ever. Take a bit of everything, mix it together and then burn it all down. Building on our previous release DURCH [digital] Solidarity 002 features some well established artists alongside some exciting, well-kept secrets of the electronic dance music scene. You’re in for a bumpy ride and a couple of pretty nasty surprises on the way. Today we bring you the nu gabber post techno punk of "Satan Was a BabyBoomer". 

As always, the proceeds from the release go to Queer causes and this release will benefit TransInterQueer e.V. (TrIQ) and Casa Kuà. Out on April 16th and you can get yours on BANDCAMP.

Welcome in the Underground Zone

RicHard-Tek discovered the world of electronic music in the early 90's in the South of France, with the Dance/House/Techno/Trance movement, embellished with acid tones.

He started to take an interest in the mix in 1995 and he acquired in the process a pair of Technics MKII, on which he could make his first steps and strengthen his technique with a lot of diligence and personal investment. He literally fell in love with this discipline and his musical choices very quickly turned towards a more underground style, inspired by the Techno of Detroit and the Hardtechno of the time.

Before the year 2000, Hardtek, Hardcore and Tribe quickly caught his ears and he got into these styles with even more passion. Loving the Oldschool and the Underground, he continues to play lots of other styles, sometimes much softer, according to his desires and his inspirations of the moment.

He plays now lives with drum machines and samplers.
