Give Me Your Stars To Hold

The Santa Clara Chorale, under the direction of artistic director Scot Hanna-Weir, performs Richard Water's "Stella Clara" as part of their March 13, 2016 performance in the Mission Santa Clara: Songs of Youth. The Chorale co-commissioned this piece with choirs across the United States. Text and Translation by Charles Silvestri.

My Song

Richard Waters is Director of Choral Activities and Professor of Music at Eastern Kentucky University, where he directs the university’s three choral ensembles and teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in conducting and choral literature. He holds degrees in music education and choral conducting from James Madison University, the Hartt School of Music, and the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
