INDEX0X0XL is the second release of our pan-sensory bouquet, distilled to provoke and whet our deepest of lusts. An atomised, sway-inducing solution to seduce and ensnare the most sated souls, thru an intoxicating rhapsody of notes – a Venus in slurs.

The cargo cult does not exist per se; rather it appears in the dirty mirror of the European self - a cultic other as a reflection of the imperial self. The dreamer should always advance and attack in the teeth of danger, calling on the dream images of his fellows if necessary.  Eroticism is beyond good and evil since it is inevitable ... just imagine living in four rapidly evolving worlds at once. XTCLVR, the brainchild of Ukrainian sound artist and audio producer Artem Diachenko from Buchan near Kyiv, is set to release a new album titled 'INVERSE' on Standard Deviation. XTCLVR cinematic soundscapes have been featured in Standard Deviation’s audiovisual project 'Ridne' showcased at the CTM Festival in Berlin, ICA London and La Gaîté Lyrique in Paris. Known for his deep involvement in Kyiv's underground music scene, Artem is also a key member of the Pep Gaffe and Ejekt collectives, representing a fresh wave of Ukrainian independent artists dedicated to alternative and experimental sounds.

XTCLVR's music is characterized by deep, enveloping ambient passages and sharp synthesizer elements that often transform into hip-hop and dub bass lines. The name XTCLVR (ecstasy lover), created in 2019, humorously echoes with the techno culture.

'INVERSE' unveils a different facet of XTCLVR’s sound, with heavier and more aggressive tones. The traditional genres dissolve, and a grotesque tone draws the listener into a surreal, chimeric journeyThe album blends rich synthesizers and post-club polyrhythms with euphoric, upbeat elements, maintaining his distinctive style. Written throughout 2022-2023, the tracks on 'INVERSE' reflect a time of emotional instability and a dream-like state: is this all for real? The music features liquid sonic textures that escalate into distorted synths, fractured noisescapes, and eerie melodies. A standout track, 'FEEL ME', poses a bold inner dialogue, questioning reality itself.

'INVERSE' will be released on Standard Deviation on the 12th of July 2024.

the tale of a little goblin that lost itself deep within the skogen

Field Recordings of the Mysterious Ringing Rocks/Montana, music made with rocks. Near Butte Montana, and part of the edge of the Boulder Batholith, is a large jumbled pile of boulders, the rocks in this unique geologic formation chime melodically when tapped lightly with a crescent wrench or mallet.

It is believed that the ringing is a combination of the composition of the rock and the way the joining patterns have developed as the rocks have eroded away, though ultimately a concrete scientific explanation has yet to be arrived at. Curiously, if a boulder is removed from the pile, it no longer rings.

Slightly different pitches and timbres emanate from thousands of rocks in the formation, and in theory Butte's Ringing Rocks could form the basic ostinato for the "Music of the Spheres."(Musica Universalis)
