I started my musical journey almost 2 years ago, inspired after listening to great musical storytellers, listening to the way they sequenced tracks to create a magical journey and take the audience on a deep ride.

This set was opened with a 20 minute ambient mix which is not included in this recording 

During this set there were many factors to take into consideration - I had a lot of sound feedback in the booth (due to the structure of the venue) so I had to trust in my choices at the time and I was not always picking up a few bumpy loops. 

Starting at 82bpm and peaking at 112bpm (30bpm progression) under a 2hr period can be challenging, this needs to be done organically while reading the dance floor - I was constantly reading the vibe to see where I could move up gently. The dance floor responded well and I appreciated connecting with many wonderful souls during the set, that fueled inspiration and informed the direction I was taking.

Welcome to Sonic Interlude Vol. 01

My romance with electronic music has not been a long one, in a short space of time I fell in love with great storytelling and have dedicated my time to working on that and finding my own voice amongst the many incredible DJs out there. 

This is an evolution of my style - for this particular mix I have focused on a simple strategy of a slow build with a punchy peak. This is a selection of very recently acquired tracks, many are more vintage now - all new music for me.
