This years "Haloween" offering comes to you from a similarly dark and creepy place. I've always loved this Doors song, but never really paid attention to what it was about. The more I whittled the list down for potential songs to cover, this one took on a very specific meaning to me.

Process was months long. Started with practicing over this and several other songs (on the drums). Then learned and tracked the Bass guitar, and gave myself the ultimate challenge of learning to play it on Fretless. Then guitar seemed to be best done in slide style. Oh and there are some keys in there too! 

Singing is always last and went fast, and decided to push it up in the mix this time. 

This will be distributed through the main streaming services in the coming days, for now though, It's only on Soundcloud!

You're Lost Little Girl

Juliana Simone is a singer-songwriter who’s perpetually stuck in the memory of that jittery first sip of Miami coffee that her taste buds touched as a nine year old. Influenced by Colombian days and Brazilian nights, Juliana’s Trop Rocks is perfect for cool drives to the beach on a cloudy day. But make no mistake: Juliana is a curly haired, leather jacket donning force to be reckoned with. Pursuing acting and music professionally, Juliana has been found on stage in the 25th Anniversary National Tour of Les Miserables and various productions at UCLA’s School of Theater, Film, and Television while also releasing four singles (“Into My Arms,” Wind Blows,” “With You,” and “California”) over the last two years. This music, forged by the (un)faithful flames of memory, reflect Juliana’s mysterious expressions of remembrance to those who dare to listen to her.
