SONG NOTES AND LYRICS: 
It's nice to be recording again with a view to completing my 5th Solo album over the next few months. I decided to go with just guitar and vocals for this song, which I think best reflects the lyrics. For those interested in how I record my acoustic guitar, I have used a slightly different technique for this song, using a blend of stereo small diaphragm microphones, together with Direct Input from my Taylor electro-acoustic guitar, played through a mixer into my audio interface. Hope you like it.

President Putin and his government must be completely out of their minds. They are sooo cruel. How do the Russian people react?? Are they ashamed?? They are probably being deceived!

It is hard when friends are abandoning them - they get so sad
Their hearts will break now when companions are leaving them
but we don’t want any maniacs to rule the whole world
we want to have wise folks to rule


It was hard when neighbors attacked their land - they were surprised
They can’t understand what is the reason for this bloody attack
they haden’t done anything nasty which could motivate this assault
the motive was probably a sign of greed


The invadors show signs of megalomania which are severe
it’s very serious and there are paranoic signs as well
