For the past decade, The Vindys have captivated audiences with their signature blend of rock, soul, and pop. Hailing from Youngstown, Ohio, the band has built a devoted following through electrifying live performances and heartfelt songwriting.

At the heart of The Vindys is powerhouse vocalist and songwriter Jackie Popovec, who has earned high praise from none other than Pat Benatar, who raved, “She’s amazing. That girl can sing her ass off.” She is backed by an exceptional lineup, with John Anthony on lead guitar, Rick Deak on rhythm guitar, Owen Davis on drums, Brendan Burke on bass, and Nathan Anthony on keys. Together, this dynamic ensemble crafts a sound that Music Connection Magazine hails as “rock and roll at its finest.”
The Vindys have been making waves nationally, lighting up major festival stages and opening for legends like Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo, ZZ Top, Marcus King, Beth Hart, and Ann Wilson.

Their anthemic track “Are You Ready” was featured in television commercials for ESPN, while their music video for “Bugs” earned an exclusive selection at the 2023 Tribeca Film Festival.

Nick is the youngest of the Parker family dynasty of drummers. He has recorded and toured with artists including; Todd Rundgren, Randy Van Warmer, Black 47, Rick Derringer, Robbie Dupree, Orleans, Artie Traum, and others.

Since 2012 he's worked as composer and sound designer for High 5 Games www.High5games.com. There are many demo clips here from over 100 video games which he has created sound design, game audio, and music compositions.

There are original songs here produced between 1996 and 2006 by Nick and Harvey Jones (harvjones.com). The Blue Nile cover is from the early 90s, an unreleased track, 'The Wires Are Down.' 

There are also original songs from 'Holomen' in which Nick wrote the lyrics, sang lead and background vocals, and played drums.

Peter Tijerina is a trombonist, educator, arranger, and composer. Recently, he taught jazz arranging and trombone at Lincoln College and his nonet currently occupies a monthly residency at The Iron Post in Urbana, IL. He earned his master's degree in Jazz Studies from Michigan State University and is finishing a DMA in Jazz Performance at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
