Sacred Summits returns in early 2014 with an album of previously cassette only compositions by Colin Potter that highlight the early development of his sonic soundscapes in the years preceding joining arch-industrialists, Nurse With Wound.

Based on the A Gain cassette only album of 1982, “Enter Again” takes the beautiful, ethereal drone of opening track, On Entering York Minster, as the main inspiration of the whole album.

Riding the birth of the DIY cassette tape scene that followed the punk explosion, Colin released 6 classic albums between 1980 and 1982, that have long since become collector’s items. 

Sacred Summits, in tangent with Dom Martin’s Deep Distance label, are working on releasing a series of Colin’s music throughout 2014.  

The release comes in beautiful hand silk-screened and numbered sleeves, has been remastered by Dubplate & Mastering and comes with special liner notes from Colin himself.

Ce synthé me rend nostalgique du bon vieux temps où on jouait pour s'amuser, ce n'est plus si fréquent.
Je venais aussi d'apprendre le décès d'Edgar Froese, ce qui m'a sûrement influencé.
Et puis, je me remémorais les jams sans fin avec mon ami Tim Blake.
