Filipe Rodrigues (ancient DJ JUNIOR S.) is a&nbsp;DJ and producer oriented Soulful House. 
After discovering the electronic music (rave music) over compilations like Cherrymoon and LaRocca Ballroom, he began to play early in 1995 in various local radio stations and finally played for the 1st time in an old but famous club who's called Casablanca. 
With only 15 years old and he was one of the youngest dj's in the country. 
The Techno wave was in full swing. He took some influences from Blake Baxter, Ian Pooley, Ritchie Hawtin, Jeff Mills, Ken Ishii, Aphex Twin and the Techno from Germany. He also met staff from Bonzai Records in Brussels &amp; Liège like DJ Ghost, Phi-Phi, DJ Deg and Marco Bailey. 
Slowly his interests were in references to electronic music like Kraftwerk, Jean-Michel Jarre, Tangerine Dream and Klaus Schulze, and after a while he fell in love with the sounds of New York (Soulful House) like Masters at Work, Todd Terry, Junior Vasquez, Armand Van Helden and many other artists of the 90's decade. 
Late 1996, after meeting some techno producers he decides to create a home studio with a lot of collection of instruments. 
He changes his musical range and was introduced to different musical styles. 
Singers and vocalists like Jocelyn Brown and Julie McKnight, Barbara Tucker, Sandy B inspired him largely taste for Deep/Soulful House. 
He continues to play in various clubs and in 2003 he replaced his equipments by digital audio materials to enjoy a more user-friendly ergonomics. 
Since 2005 he plays quite every week in clubs / bars, the best clubs of the capital to the sounds of the Deep/Garage/Soulful House. 
Proud to be one of the pioneer of this movement in this small country, he continues to showcase the House/Garage scene in helping people on discover new sounds other than the current trend: Hiphop/Electro House. 
The public responds well to this state of mind and his sets are increasingly in demand. 
In 2008 for example, he played for more than 100 dates all around the country and in international with famous DJ's.

DJ, producer, GaGa Records label owner, and an internationally acclaimed name in his own right. Sam has developed his own distinctive sound that has paved the way to play a unique variety of House Music. 

Sam now has a plethora of releases under his belt on major labels such as Sony Music, Virgin Records, Warner music and Wagram, along with remixes and productions for respected dance labels such as HedKandi, Urbana, Just Music, Hi-Bias, Club Star and many more.

To date, Sam’s label GaGa Records has put out over 100 releases, featuring artists such as Eddie Amador, Dany Cohiba, Lenny Fontana, David Penn, Coqui Selection, Terri B! and Michelle Weeks to name few, as well as his own productions.

In 2014 Sam has launched Skilz DJ Academy project based in Luxembourg. The School teaches the creative process of making music at the highest level, with expert instructors and state-of-the-art facilities. The Academy has quickly become well referenced internationally and now attracts students from all over Europe.

Sam is a canny and astute operator, with a deep underlying passion for music and people, who understands the fundamentals of what makes a dance floor rise. Following the recent finale of his acclaimed Motion event series, the Luxembourgish DJ & producer looks set to take things to the next level in post-Covid times.
