Cassegrain: Alex Tsiridis და Hüseyin Evirgen-ის  ბრიტანულ/ბერძნული და გერმანულ/ავსტრიული ტექნო დუეტი, რომელიც 2008 წელს, Red Bull Music Academy-ში მათი შეხვედრის შემდეგ შეიქმნა.

Сassegrain-ის მძიმე და ექსპერიმენტულ ჟღერადობაზე დიდი გავლენა მოახდინა დუეტის წევრების განსხვავებულმა მუსიკალურმა ბექგრაუნდმა. Hüseyin Evirgen-ს კლასიკური მუსიკალური განათლება აქვს მიღებული, Alex Tsiridis კი თვითნასწავილი პროდიუსერია.
ხუთი წლის განმავლობაში Сassegrain-ს გამოშვებული აქვს ერთი ალბომი და 10-ზე მეტი EP, ისეთ ლეიბლებზე როგორიც არის: Prologue, M_Rec LTD, Killekill, Infrastructure New York და ა.შ 

2014 წელს Prologue-ზე Сassegrain-ის სადებიუტო ალბომი Centres Of Distraction გამოვიდა რომელმაც დიდი მოწონება დაიმსახურა. ასევე აღსანიშნავია დუეტის კოლაბორაცია კალიფორნიელ DJ და პროდიუსერ TIN MAN-თან, რაც  2012 წელს მათი პირველი ერთობლივი EP-ით Carnal დაიწყო,  2015 წელს კი მათი მესამე EP WINDOW WINDOW გამოვიდა.





Cassegrain: British/Greek and German/Austrian techno duo consisting of Alex Tsiridis and Hüseyin Evirgen, which was founded after they met at Red Bull Music Academy in 2008.

Cassegrain's dark and experimental sound was heavily influenced  with different musical backgrounds of members. Hüseyin is a classically trained musician and Alex is self-educated producer.

In the period of five years Cassegrain has released one full-length and over 10 EPs on labels such as Prologue, M_Rec LTD, Killekill and Infrastructure New York.

Cassegrain's debut album "Centres Of Distraction" which was released on Prologue in 2014,  was met with critical acclaim. Their collaboration with Californian producer Tin Man is also worth noting, with whom they have put out 3 EPs and done a Boiler Room show.

New York refugee Aaron Davis started Acid Camp as a daydream in 2012, yearning for a quality house and techno party that would take advantage of Southern California’s long, sun-dappled days. This mix represents the deeper side of the Acid Camp parties. It begins with an ambient track by Simic to be released soon on the new Acid Camp record label. GhostlyCast #62: Aaron Davis - Over the Garden Wall

Honey Soundsystem is an American creative collective that has become hugely influential in the decade since they formed. As DJs both solo and as a team, the San Fran foursome has more than made its mark with an eclectic sound that draws on the diverse backgrounds of the musicians, performers and designers involved. They also host their own parties—famed for fantastic art installations as well as carefully curated headliners from all across the musical spectrum—and run plenty of labels between them, including HNYTRX and most famously Dark Entries, which has poured many attention on Patrick Cowley with a series of resurrected releases.

Very much setting their own agenda, then, the group does just the same with their two hour mix for us. It is a fresh offering that rolls through a bouncing selection of well polished house and techno. Clean and tinged with a stylish sense of retro-futurism throughout, there are nods to darker synth wave sounds and colourful disco vibes that will keep you coming back for more.

"Normally I know that high expectations kill the vibe, so I always try to walk my way open minded and don’t expect anything special from the future, but this time I couldn’t help it. When the Robot told me that she wanted me to play the sunrise set and that we will be connected with the Mayan Warrior soundsystem, I could feel it already in Berlin a full three weeks before… Then when I finally took the bus over to Robot Heart it was even better than in my craziest expectations. This gig was by far the most emotional gig I have ever played. All I can say is thank you, I am even more happy now to be born on this weird planet which can be really beautiful sometimes, when you give it  chance to be free. Thank you you for dancing with me and giving me so much Love. So here is my try to give something back.

The human body is the most highly engineered object in existence, a machine of uncountable parts and unfathomable function. Its workings have served as inspiration for all of humanity's greatest inventions. This work is an homage to the two most amazing mechanisms in that machine: the human eye and hand. The head is a 16 foot camera obscura demonstrating the ray optics principals underlying the spherical lensed eye humans posses and the hands are actuated mimicking the tendons and bones of the body. Together they represent what separates life from the rest of the universe, the ability to observe the world around us and manifest change in that world.
