RICHARICHAR was born out of fortuitous and spontaneous encounters. The band consists of five musicians whose deep desire is to unleash their unbridled energy to release the torments that dwell within each of us. RICHARICHAR’s music resonates with post-punk sounds, sometimes improvised, that blur the lines between chance and destiny, and color the drab lives around us with an echo that is both wild and melancholic. The lyrics, like dark poems, reveal fragments of souls, raw and nostalgic emotions. RICHARD is a dead cat. RICHARICHAR is a rock band.
