Born in Crown Heights, Brooklyn, and raised in South Side Jamaica, Queens, his relationship with music began at age 12, shaped by a household rich in sound, culture, and storytelling.

Rooted in the precision of Rakim, the introspection of Nas, and the realism of Mobb Deep, Done Wright fuses gritty street narratives with the soul of classic R&B. His signature is a melodic, hypnotic smooth flow, always in the pocket, making vivid and complex stories feel natural, fluid, and captivating.
