Saber Tooth Trio was born in the concrete suburban jungle of Nyack, NY. What began as simple jam sessions in a tiny bedroom has evolved into an exciting, intricate musical experience that pushes the boundaries of modern jazz fusion.

The band has proper reverance for the musical traditions established by the great jazz giants, but rather than simply play around with established conventions, they fearlessly forge ahead into strange and beautiful territory. Their music is a fresh blend of fusion jazz, rock/funk muscle, and delicate aural subtleties that satisfy both casual listeners and hardcore audiophiles.

Combine the time-bending rhythm of Rich Bozek with the deep, soulful grooves of Dave Reiss with the obscure melodic phrasing of Ryan Liatsis and you have the fiercest jazz animal to be unleashed on the NY music scene: the Saber Tooth Trio.

Guitarist/composer from New York drawing from jazz harmony, experimental rock textures, and African rhythms. Currently performing solo and with various groups including Post-Rock / Math-Rock hybrid Hannibal Montana and others throughout the US.

I'm a multi-instrumentalist and composer that produces a variety of beautiful sounds including lofi jazzhop, neo-soul, and fusion as well as more traditional genres of jazz, funk and rock.
