Am 24.02.2023 spielte HappyCityHippie in der Insel der Jugend Magdeburg auf dem großen TechnoFloor 24.00 bis 01.30 Uhr zur Solidaritäts-Party, die die DKMS (Deutschen KnochenMarks Spende) & der erkrankten KRISSI <3 zu gute kamen. Es war ein wundervoller Abend reich angefüllt mit der KulturLandschaft und Scene Magdeburgs, der vermutlich allen Gästen absolut traumhaft in Erinnerung bleiben wird. Ein besonderer Dank geht an Karo Schulze, die die ganze Veranstaltung organisiert hat und ohne mit der Wimper zu zucken wirklich alles in ihrer Macht stehende verwirklicht hat und noch viel mehr!!!

My opening set for @fox-badge ’s extraordinary Mad Maxx event at Studio 338, London,  where I had the honour of leading a pantheon of female Furiosa DJs in the ThunderDome. My dancers were Post-Apocalypse survivors of tribes and warriors, and I took them travelling through a landscape of music from melodic to driving techno.

On the 1st of February at Odds and Ends, we gathered beneath the shroud of winter’s longest night. The air was thick with prophecy, the scent of sacred herbs, and the pulse of bodies moving as one. Synesthesia: Sacred Rites of Freya was not just an event—it was a ritual, a calling, a last-ditch invocation against the coming storm.

The vølve had spoken. The world trembled on the edge of Ragnarok, its heart frozen in apathy. But Freya, the radiant goddess of love and desire, whispered a path to salvation: to rekindle the primal fire, to dissolve the barriers of flesh and ego, to awaken our senses through sound, movement, and sacred union.

This DJ set is a relic of that night. A sonic incantation, carrying the echoes of pleasure and devotion, the resonance of flesh against flesh, the rhythmic pulse of life defying the void.

Let this mix take you back to that night—where bodies intertwined in the dim glow, where basslines became heartbeats, where the senses merged into one transcendental experience. Feel it. Relive it. And may love triumph over the cold.

Q: Talking about your mix, your roots: How did these tracks change your life? What do they still mean to you?

A: These are still some of our favorite tracks that have been giving us goose bumps for over 5 years. That is when Lunar Plane was born, so these tracks had a big impact on our sound.

Q: Regarding your current DJ sets, would you still mix in some of your classics?

A: Yes, we do like to play some classics from time to time. They definitely spice things up!

Q: Which exciting new LP projects are coming soon?

A: We're currently working on around 10 original tracks, so expect to see some dance-floor killers soon.
