Ecstatic Dance Set @ Cosmic Convergence Festival - Cosmic Portal 2023

The Sunday Morning "Rise" Ecstatic Dance at Pyramid in Koh Phangan Thailand is a special and unique place to play!
It is a unforgettable experience for the Djs as much as for the dancers.
And more then anywhere else here I feel at home, not only because I live here play regularly there but moreover because I created this event back in 2016 and witnessed it growing exponentially until now that has become globally recognised and acclaimed.
I honestly never came across such an intense dance floor.
Dancers here are fully present, total, playful, vibrant and open to receive and give all themselves.
I use to call it Dream Floor, a place where dreams manifest!!

Today I felt to upload a more recent of my Ecstatic Dance set to convey the difference in style and way I lately play them. 
This is a the Journey I played last April, I normally do not listen to my sets again after played  and picked it up from my recording"s folder just due to his length ... 3:03:33 hrs ... 

Ps ... in the middle of the set you will find the original version of HAVA NAGILA played in celebration of a wedding that literally took place on the Dance Floor :D

Massive 4 hour recording from the 3-7Pm debut session at the biggest beach club on the busy island Gili Trawangan, Indonesia: Rabbit Jump!

Took people as organically as I could through a lazy platform jumping filled afternoon into a breathtaking sunset finishing off with an unsuspecting peak to finish my set :)

So blessed to be able to play the final set on my birthday this year.    Max the Bionic Buddha handed me over a beautiful dance floor and I kept the tempo high for a while to try to keep the vibes going.    Gradually I brought down the tempo ending up with more spaces to play some tracks I have been excited to hear loud at the beach under the cosmos. Whynam Love Set - Tribal Deep into Sacred Bass 17/02/2020

I was stoked to be asked to play and Vanessa and Lily's birthday party.  Surrounded by supportive friends in the middle of an actual bamboo forest.  Warmed up by a funk band and dramatized by a massive rainstorm in the middle of the set.  I even remembered to hit record after  a few tracks.   I will add the full track listing in due course.

Another dream came true as I played the Sunday noon set at Pyramid Yoga, the biggest Ecstatic Dance venue and event in Koh PhaNgan, where i've been dancing and living for many years.

I was so happy to see the people dance, jump, and shout to the wide-ranging journey of beats-infused world music I played.

A few highlights:
- Beats and Bass-infused vocals and music from Native-american, New-Zealand Mauri, Russian,  Tibetan, Amazonian, Aboriginal Australian, Indian, Turkish, Brazilian, Balkan,  and LOTS of African
- A traditional African acapella, an upbeat electronic remix of it, and samples that return many times during the whole journey
- A few other vocal and melodic African songs
- My newest track, a tribal remix of "Stone gods of Bimini", by Ixtahuele
