Since starting Plus 8 Records at the turn of the ‘90s, Richie Hawtin has shaped not just the sound of electronic music, but also the culture and industry around it, like few others. He developed the tool that went on to change the art of DJing (Final Scratch), established a seminal club night in Ibiza (ENTER.), built a veritable techno empire (M_nus), and most importantly, released some of the most memorable music in techno history. Now the latter doesn’t happen all too often these days, so we’re even more excited to present a brand new recording under a new alias, 80XX. ‘Crawlr’ is one of four 80XX tracks recorded in Berlin this year to coincide with the release of Hawtin’s new album, From My Mind To Yours – a raw banger that channels the energy of the early ‘90s while demonstrating how this Red Bull Music

Beim heiligen Kanonenrohr und Klabautermann! 500 sagenhafte Genießer musikalischer Leckerbissen, die wir von unseren Reisen durch die sieben Weltmeere so mitgebracht und euch in der Klangwolke aufgetischt haben. Da haut es glattweg dem Cäpt'n seinen Hut vom Schäddel.
Danke dafür an alle Freibeuter, Leichtmatrosen, Landratten, Seebären, Freischwimmern und Piraten!
Auf weitere heiter tosende Töne aus Neptuns Meerestiefen und lustig polternde Tanzeskapaden vom Deck bis auf den Strand, wo man hoffentlich schon bald wieder im weichen Sand die verworrenen Spuren des letzten Abends sieht.
Im blaugrün schimmerndem Wasser der sonnen gefluteten Bucht reflektieren die Lichtstrahlen funkelnd hell und lassen uns erahnen, wie bald wieder das kribbeln vom Holzbein bis zum Dreikant durch unsere Körper fließt.
Seicht vom Wasser angetrieben strandet eine fein geschreinerte Holzkiste mit güldenen Verschlägen und Schanieren...
Auf der Innenseite des Deckels lassen sich die Initialen " Joris Belzin " lesen.

'DE9 Fragments' is a series of fragmented audio edits based upon my live DJ set recordings. Each one will attempt to capture the feeling and direction of the night, giving those who were there a reminder of the events they experienced while giving those who were not present a fragmented distortion of what they missed.
