I gotta be honest, I ain't been where I need to be / Forsakin' the Promise, cannot breathe and it's killin' me / Repeatin' cycles in my life, plantin' deadly seed / Corrupted by these emotions I often tend to feed / Truth of the matter is that I'm my worst enemy / YOU set me free, yet I chose the penitentiary / Within my mind, trapped in a cell with these entities / They lie to me, I'm so fed up, just want them to leave / drawin' a line in the sand____ to the Truth I cleave / More than a conquerer, YOUR Word I choose to believe / An Overcomer, I have Purpose and Destiny / The darkness flees as I repent from my emnity / Changing my ways, no more destructive tendencies / Renew my mind, pick up the Sword, it's my weaponry / I seek and find that Elohim is the Remedy / With me through time, yet choices led me to penalty / Consequences surfaced, felt the intensity / For that I'm grateful 'cause it was a necessity / Discipline from my FATHER that I had to receive / Hard lessons learned, but I'm not burnin', soul's been retrieved....
