Originally from Toronto and San Francisco respectively, Pink-E & Brane (@richnines & @@b-lux-1) met at a rave on a ganja farm on Salt Spring Island, BC in 2015. 

Quickly bonding over our mutual love of classic breakbeat hardcore, jungle and dnb, we began sharing a studio in downtown Vancouver in 2019. 

Having fine-tuned our b2b DJing dynamic over many epic twitch streams during the pandemic,  we jumped at the opportunity to play IRL at  @donna-dada 's Jungle Bells birthday party hosted by @blondtron in West Vancouver, Dec 2021. Music context: After a week of heavy rains the skies cleared and the forest floor of Mt. Elphinstone erupted in dance! This set was a bridge between @MichaelRed's preceding polyrhythmic techno/bass hypnosis, and @PachaPapa's psychedelic footwork frenzy that followed— so the journey begins climbing from 110-130bpm through techno, bass and afrobeats into the dnb/footwork/halftime canopy ending around 160bpm. Genre-fluid selections surveying a loose axis of complementary sonic sensibilities from Canada, USA, UK, Germany, Nigeria, Ghana, and South Africa:
