B-day buddy sunrise set

Totemic 3 Decks @ alienInFlux + promise + bassGators NYE

This is the set I played at Beaver Point Hall on Saltspring Island on January 31st, 2015. I played between 9:20 - 10:30 approximately, right after MATSYA and before MAX ULIS and MICHAEL RED. Big ups to those three for truly awesome sets and especially to MATSYA for putting together such a wonderful night of art, music, food and community. 

For this set I used about half tunes selected by my amazing girlfriend and half my own music so it was a nice sexy mix of deep bass music that incorporated many lighter elements than I usually play, including some chill tasteful trap and lots of soulful ethereal vocals. A bit different than my usual style but appropriate I felt for the time of night.

Here's a deep n' dirty tech house set I threw down at Root Stage on the mighty 40Hz Soundsystem, in my favourite foresty disco at the annual Solstice Gathering (aka the festival formerly known as OM). 

A lot of care went into the selection of these songs. This is probably my favourite place in the world to play because of the warm, conscious, family-friendly, community, outdoor vibes.  A lot of love goes into the production of this event, and it shows.

Philthkids performance 7:30-9:00 Friday evening featuring a Vogue showcase complete with proper dancing from 'House of la Douche'.  Once we went Ghettotech things started getting silly, with  a hyper energy crowd including a surprise visit by Blondtrons's Ass and Sinistarr as our hype man. This is my sunrise morning set from Diversity Festival 2015 on Texada Island. Big thanks out to Westerley for the amazing timeslot. I think that was my best festival experience to date and I would love to be back anytime that Diversity happens again. This set spanned a pretty wide range of deep and melodic bass music starting in the darkness of the night and ending with the sun fully up (and people doing handsprings and riding tiny tricycles across the dancefloor). BassCoast 2015 Sunrise

Here's my set from the last show at Beaver Point Hall on Saltspring. Thanks to Luminosity Gathering for having me and keeping the high vibe alive. Out to Atyya, Perkulat0r, Je'Daiaa, Sigma-1, Probiotic Soundsystem, all the visual artists, nourishment providers and especially all the dancers who came out to throw down on that Pisces Supermoon in such a positive and uplifting way.
