MF Records is back with a brand-new track! (7 actually) – a diverse Spring Sampler featuring rising artists in the underground dance music scene both in the UK and Internationally! 

We welcome back such artists as MF lead man Shane Mahon and Jo.an Julian who had his first release with us in 2020 and has since gone on to release on respected labels since. We also welcome back Frazer Hamilton who released his 'Abstract' EP with us in 2020 also! Newcomers to the label include Roux, Oscar Silva, Simmo (UK) and Josh Burnett who collaborated with two friends Alex Simpson and Freeman (UK). 

MFRVA 002 comes to you as the UK gets ever so closer to the end of a long and torturous lockdown, providing club-ready heaters from some of the finest up n' comers the scene has to offer. 
 
Frazer Hamilton: 'Late Night Calls' takes jazz n' blues to the nightclub in a concoction of pure sub-bass, bleeps, bloops and dreamy vocals. It's a mystery to us why this track has been kept in hiding for so long, so let's fix that and fire it in our Spring Sampler! 

Jo.an Julian: Tight kits, a robotic atmosphere, cheeky chords and soothing vocals create what Jo.an Julian calls, 'Jmulacrum'. Here, Jo.an's style shines brightly as his productions have reached far and wide since his 2020 release with us at MF. 

Josh Burnett (UK), Alex Simpson, Freeman (UK): A 3-way collaboration providing a deep, hypnotic atmosphere, with thick bass and airy pads – all topped nicely with dreamy, love-filled vocals, thus creating 'Dya Think'.  

Oscar Silva: Mexican-born Oscar blesses us with a chilled minimal production featuring swinging percussion and bouncing synths, prominent features of his growing style. 'Luv Me' is a perfect fit for our Spring Sampler. 

Roux: 'Keep Cool' resonates exactly what it says on the tin, giving that old-school house and tech vibe featuring dreamy pads, house chords and a groovy bassline that will take you on a 9-minute journey to the 90's. With that, we welcome Roux to the MF Family! 

Simmo (UK): One of four tracks sent to our demo box, 'Burn For You' displays a jackin' bassline and chords left, right and centre – a teaser of what's to come from Simmo in the coming months on MF! 

Shane Mahon: MF head honcho returns to his label's catalog with his signature style in 'Invenio', featuring playful bikini bottom chord progressions and a walking bassline to get you swayin' on the dancefloor.

The two Dutch production powerhouses Robin Fett and Polar (NL) collide in this heavy rolling Deep Tech project called 'Call to Cancel EP'. During pandemic, the three producers sat together and joined hands to create four tracks that resonated with them deeply in 2020. The big call to cancel came, leaving many of us in the events and entertainment industry stranded on an island, yet has not stopped these gentlemen to be creative and create this beautiful EP. From cancelling dinners with friends to Christmas dinners with families, some of us had to cancel all of it. With this EP we want to say that hope is not lost yet and we can rebuild and show what can be achieved with dedication and hard work. Music can make us feel hopeful and this EP cannot be missed for the rebirth of the dance floor.

Something special was developing in London's rave culture during the mid-2000's. A generation of like-minded artists and promoters with similar tastes in house and techno formed a genuine scene with a spirit and alchemy that has propelled its instigators far and wide. Rich NxT was enjoying being part of the movement, frequenting the many seminal East London venues we still talk about now.

Born in 2008, FUSE London carved its own unique position on the scene with its infamous Sunday free parties at 93 Feet East. As one of FUSE’s original residents, Rich played a major part in the brand’s evolution, helping take it from a free afterparty to one of the most respected event brands and labels on the planet. As a core FUSE artist, Rich has delivered 11 classy EPs on the FUSE London imprint. In October 2020, the debut album ‘Know the Score’ lands, his crowning career achievement. The 10-tracker spans the full breadth of the house genre and is the culmination of 20 years production work, taking influence from his varied involvement in music as a DJ, raver, drummer in bands and pirate radio devotee, devouring the sounds on Weekend Rush FM.

Elsewhere the DJ/producer draws on his strongly identifiable sound to run two vinyl imprints,NxT Records and What NxT. The tastemaker favourites draw influence from techno and minimal house, while never forgetting Rich’s raver roots taking influence from jungle and hardcore.

His DJ highlights include appearances at most of the scene’s major venues such as DC-10 (Paradise, Cuttin’ Headz) Watergate, Space, Amnesia, Robert Johnson, Warehouse Elemenstratt, Mint Warehouse, Tobacco Docks, Studio 338 and The Warehouse Project. At the same time, he is versatile enough to command the decks over long sets at intimate venues such as Hopetosse, Ibiza Underground, Bret and CDV. Festival appearances in 2019 included Cocoon in The Park, BPM and Mint Festival.

Releasing regularly, he’s gained the support of many other DJs including The Martinez Brothers, Tini, Marco Carola, Enzo Siragusa, Jamie Jones, WAFF,Steve Lawler, MEAT, Matthias Kaden, East End Dubs, Alan Fitzpatrick, Eats Everything and Darius Syrossian.

Prior to his ‘Know The Score’ album dropping, Rich enjoyed an industrious first half of 2020, including a huge EP on WYLD, collaborative work with Darius Syrossian (Moxy Muzik) and remixes for INFUSE, Moan and SASH.

Meanwhile he continues to demonstrate a very keen ear with What NxT delivering the goods for new and established artists alike. Rich also continues his radio residency on Rinse FM with Fuse London and launches a new weekly show on Ibiza Global Radio
