When I was sixteen, I used to think about 2020, saying to myself that I would be sixty then and that’d be strange, but it turned out way weirder than I could have imagined.

This song was a started a couple of years ago when I was in quiet desperation from being sick of all the walls it felt like I had to put up. 

I was craving the type of connection that I didn't have to hide my real self from. 

little did I know it wasn't really about that but hey you gotta learn somehow right? 

I wasn't in a relationship at the time I don't think. I would have been living in North Melbourne and been feeling pretty aimless. (mid covid). 

I did however notice that I could never make myself feel fully comfortable around someone. 

I wanted that. 

That's what this song is about.

This song features LeechKing. We met up randomly one night whilst I was in the city and then he ended up coming over to my house to record and he recorded this verse. I loved it and then the song was complete.

Seth Freeman, my current housemate, wrote the second hook...THANK YOU SETH.

Barak Remalli helped make the intro a little more interesting and the structure of the song less boring. THANK YOU BARAK

This journey of being an artist has been a windy road. I've felt on track and more recently I felt off track.
