Canadian singer-songwriter Rachel Beck’s sophomore record, Stronger Than You Know, is an echoing cry-out from a forest, a chilling dance upon a grave, an arrow shooting straight to the heart of what is, a call to strength. Intimate and close, the six-track EP, produced by Daniel Ledwell, is sonically decorated amidst compelling electronic rhythms and dreamy synth layers. Beck’s vocals float across the vivid, harmony-laden, ethereal soundscape for which she has become known.

Stronger Than You Know follows Rachel Beck’s self-titled debut, which garnered​ two ECMA nominations, two Music PEI Awards​, and a SOCAN #1 Award for single Reckless Heart (#1 on the CBC Music Top 20 Chart in March 2018). Tour highlights include performing for Their Royal Highnesses The Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall, appearing twice at the legendary Stan Rogers Folk Festival, opening the 2019 ECMA Gala Awards Show, and playing beautiful festivals and stages across Canada, from the Rogue Folk Club in Vancouver, BC to the Imperial Theatre in Saint John, NB.

I am a singer songwriter who is originally from Winnipeg Manitoba .Folk Music has always been a passion of mine since I was a child .I grew up in the Winnipeg Folk music scene at the Winnipeg Folk festival which was the beginning of what inspired so many songs in me. I was always very sensitive and was always writing poems and songs about how I felt about life and the world.I was very blessed to have grown up with a musical mother who had a children’s group “Wendy & Friends “ where she taught children music lessons and how to sing and perform on stage .Both of my children learned from both me and my mom and sang on stages with us as soon as they were both able to walk .My Son took what he learned into performing in school musicals singing and dancing on stage .My daughter followed his love for school musicals and was taught Piano  and then ukulele and now guitar well she sings with her powerhouse vocals.I am now raising my two teenagers with my partner in Saint John New Brunswick  and writing songs about life and living my best life always growing and learning and teaching my children to do the same !I am currently working on recording an album of my best songs !
