Samuel Roland - also known as The Song of Rolandhood is a singer/songwriter living on the FAAAAAAAAAR side of Manhattan in the shadow of the George Washington bridge (although most people call it Jersey) lol A self-taught guitarist, his influences stem largely from the folk, folk-rock, protest, and classic rock of the 60's and 70's. Born and reared in New York and the surrounding area, he grew up in a politically progressive activist family, which has informed his world view and songwriting.
