FTB is a new indie band started mid 2014 by four outstanding and talented performers based out of Chicagoland.  All original material, no predefined barriers on genera, with killer live shows mostly in the Midwest US.

Dr. Nick DiSalvio is a professional saxophonist and music educator from Manahawkin, New Jersey. He received his Bachelor's Degree in Music Education with a specialization in Jazz Studies from Rowan University. He taught music for two years in the New Jersey public school system before receiving his Master's Degree in Saxophone Performance from Illinois State University under the instruction of Dr. Paul Nolen.

Nick is also a graduate of Louisiana State University, where received the degree Doctor of Musical Arts in Woodwind Performance under the instruction of Dr. Griffin Campbell.

Nick is an experienced performer and educator, specializing in classical and jazz saxophone. He has a passion for saxophone chamber music. He is experienced in individual and small group music instruction, as well as new teacher education. He has performed extensively around the country with musicians such as Johnny Mathis, Denis DiBlasio, Wayne Bergeron, George Rabbai, Ed Vezinho, Dale Underwood, and many more. He has also performed with groups including the Baton Rouge Symphony Orchestra, The Baton Rouge Jazz Ensemble, The Heartland Jazz Orchestra, New World Funk, Questionable at Best, Cold Grits, and more.
