Troy Fernandes is a singer/ songwriter native to the island of Trinidad and Tobago. He is currently based in Montreal,Canada. As a Trinidadian he spent nine years of his life exposed to the hyper culture of the Trinidad and Tobago Carnival. The mixture of Calypso, Soca, Chutney and many other musical genres helped cultivate his musical background. Interestingly enough it was songs like “In Your Eyes, by Peter Gabriel” and “Nothing Compares to you by Sinead O’Conner” that inspired him to become a songwriter.
He began working in the after hours club scene where he totally fell in love with House Music. This led him to various collaborations with well established DJ's.  He went on to co-found an underground group called  Made by Monkeys , the group toured the US and Canada in support of their first single “I Try” that was co-produced with legendary DJ/Producer Peter Rauhofer  entitled.
Troy Fernandes then decided that it was time for him to take his talents to the mainstream and launch his solo career. In 2017 he signed a deal with  All In Entertainment , with the release of his last two singles "Take Me Away", reaching just under 300,000 views on Youtube and “Music In Me” released in 2018 through Select Digital. The next step will see  Troy Fernandes record two new tracks with producer  FrankySelector  starting  with a summer banger entitled “ Darling” scheduled for release summer 2019, setting the table for new material that will become his first full length release. With new music developing into a great live show  Troy Fernandes  can begin showcasing and touring to support the album.
