BIO:
Sometimes we come across DJs combining talent with a livewire personality, and Ricky Ryan is among these.

His sound is distinguished by a broad variety of musical styles, from beautiful warm House, and deep Techno, to driving dance floor anthems, always guiding the listener through a spiritual soundscape by his silky smooth mixing and impeccable programming.

Ricky toured worldwide, including gigs at the Winter Music Conference in Miami, The BPM Festival in Mexico, ADE in Amsterdam, Creamfields in his hometown Buenos Aires, and an honourable residency at the spectacular Warung Beach Club in Brazil.

His success is exemplified by featuring on John Digweed's Transitions show, and on Proton Radio setting a record of simultaneous listeners, with rave reviews from Sander Kleinenberg, Danny Howells, and Desyn Masiello for DJ MAG.

Ricky Ryan is just as well respected for his remixes and productions while establishing both fine labels, Sick Watona and Avangardia, supported by Sasha, Hernan Cattaneo, Guy J, and many more.

Time for another eclectic mix.  This one is a bit different and has a bit of soul, funk, electro, electro funk, hip hop and even a jazzy track.  Tunage spans the decades from the early 70s to the mid 90s and a few edits and mash-ups of my own.  Did this about 5 days ago, but what with xmas and everything, only just got round to uploading it.

Eclectic mix Vol 4. If you enjoyed the other eclectic mixes, you should like this one!  In case you haven't heard the others, these mixes are pretty much anything goes and are always a big jumble of styles/genres with changes of pace and the music usually spans the decades. Housey & Funky and Misc Stuff Vol 2! It's not really too housey, but there is a bit of house in there, it is definitely funky though, and I'm not really sure what the genres are, and to be honest, it doesn't matter.  If you were a clubber/raver back in the early to mid 90s, you'll know this kind of stuff well!  There's a definite nod to places like Back to basics, Angels, Golden, The Gallery and even the Hacienda!

As always, I've tried to keep it interesting with mash ups and loads of edits.

Been meaning to do this for a long time...   In this mix you will find a few obvious and a few not-so-obvious classics, ranging from the mid 80s to the early 90s.  All are edging towards the softer side of Old Skool, and some are moderately gooey.  All have meant something to me in one way or another over the years, so I hope you enjoy the mix as much as I did making it.  Tempo is around 120BPM and I'm fond of monkeys.
