Hey Everyone Thanks for visiting my Sound Cloud environment. I am Wolverine and my Radio show is called "Holy Cow". I have had a radio show for 10 years now providing the local communities with fresh electronic audio from a variety of sources. I had been a radio disk Jockey at KOWSfm 107.3 in Occidental California for 4 years doing a one man 12 hour show once a week And yes it was hella fun. I have a show on BMIR 94.5fm in Black Rock city when that town is up and running as well. Right now I have a radio show on shouting fire.com the Burning Man Radio network on Wenesday nights from 9 until 1am Pacific Standard time Called the humpday show I have been doing live shows in a variety of different venues from Burning Man, after burns, house parties, and venues though out the bay area.. R3M's exploration into the music world started in the mid 80s listening to the sounds of rap and electro funk music. R3M aka “REM” submerged himself into this emerging culture. He quickly became involved in 3 of the 4 elements of hip-hop i.e. B-boy (break-dancing), Graffiti (creating end-to-end burners) and Lyricists (rapping). R3M refers to hip-hop culture as being his first love and admits that he is in it for life!
 

During the winter of 1994, R3M attended a Gathering party in Oakland California at the International Rave Center aka “Home Base”. On this night R3M's roots in the late night dance scene were planted. R3M was impressed with everyone dancing in complete harmony in the great gathering circle. From this moment on R3M was enthralled with the late night party scene.
 

In 1996, R3M discovered Drum & Bass, or Jungle, at The 3rd DRUM AND BASS Happening. This event was pure junglism, turntablism and mixology at its finest. This genre quickly became an addiction and now is a way of life. It also inspired R3M to start djing himself in 1998 and studying the intricacies of what he calls the 4th element of Hip-Hop, “Turntablism.” R3M actively started playing out in the Bay Area in 2000 with Inneractive Entertainment quickly becoming a essential and well respected part of the Bay Area Drum & Bass community.
 

Currently, along with djing at raves, house parties and clubs R3M has feverishly promoted his crew Primitive Science since 2004. He also co-hosts a Drum & Bass monthly called “Dystopia” in Oakland, California alongside Zykes which started in January 2011. 

Some of R3M's accomplishments include out of state gigs, Lovefest 2009 on the BADNB Float in San Francisco, CA and the honor of playing alongside acts like Dieselboy, Juju, Gridlok, Echo, U.F.O., E-Sassin, Method One, Random Movement, Dave Owen, Mayhem, Evol Intent, Stunna, Calculon, Ben Sage, Friske, Bachelors of Science, Lukeino, Jamal, Billy Lane, Phantom 45, Aphonic, Kiro, Touchphonics, Ricky Force, Basic Operations, R.A.W., Koda, Indidjinous, Cenobites, Deejay Audio 1 and many more.
 

R3M is known for Drum & Bass sets that showcase spellbinding neurofunk, power-driven hardstep, classic techstep anthems, syncopated amens, soulful liquid funk and a splash of new school jump-up. Don't be surprised if you hear a touch of other musical genres that give R3M's style an eclectic feel.

Music is the medium I have chosen to share my perception, to express my emotions, and to share my ideas. This medium is how I express the internal universe inside of my mind, that is my soul. The music I create is complex, and cerebral.

I grew up in a small mining town called Magna, on the outskirts of Salt Lake City, Utah. My parents were middle class people with traditional American Values. The religion of my parents influenced the music they allowed in their home, and so I was exposed to Classical, Baroque, and modern symphonic music, in addition to the LDS (mormon) hymns of their faith. 

After leaving their religion I experienced a wide variety of music from many different genres and cultures. The sounds, ideas, and emotions expressed therein, inspired me to create my own music. Due to the wide range of sources and experiences that inspire the music I create you will find yourself lost in soundscapes unlike anything you have ever heard.

Music Theory, Music Composition, Music Production and Songwriting are subjects I have studied for a little over four years. The understanding and mastering of these subjects will be a lifelong pursuit. I welcome any constructive criticism, or feedback you are willing to provide.
