Last year was a very difficult year for a lot of people as we lost jobs, businesses shut down, lost loved ones and celebrities to name a few. It was a shock when I found out that one of my childhood guitar idols Eddie Van Halen had passed away. His playing was like nothing anyone had heard before from his tapping wizardry and insane riffs that instantly stuck inside your head long after the song had stopped playing. We will miss you very much Eddie, but I am sure you are in a better place now and not suffering anymore.

I chose to pay tribute to Eddie by covering the instrumental track he recorded for the motion picture Twister. It wasn't your typical flashy in your face playing everyone knew him for.
