I am a Seattle area drummer. I like playing in original projects. I started playing drums when i was 15 years old. my early influences were drummers like Ringo, John Bonham, Charlie Watts, Mitch Mitchell and Ginger Baker, I am basically a rock drummer through and through. But on the most part I am about the groove and playing to the song. I also like to drum on many styles of music Pop, Hard Rock, Smooth Jazz, Jazz Fusion, R&B, Blues.

Harmony Vocal Melodic Guitar Jangle. Spin Betty Girl was (and is) a legendary Seattle indie band from the 90s. Fronted by Joanne and Emilia on guitar, vocals and songwriting and backed up by Mike on bass and a revolving door of kick ass drummers, they rocked clubs and festivals around Seattle from 1994 - 1997. Who knows, maybe someday they'll do a reunion show.  

From the original SBG Website: Spin Betty Girl began in Seattle in 1994, when Joanne and Emilia began performing acoustic shows around town as Tweed Bikini. As they developed their unique harmonies and added songs to their repertoire, they integrated the rhythm section of Mike (bass) and Darren (drums) to give their sound an edge, and began performing as Spin Betty Girl in early 1995. The heart of the band lies in the quirky, melodic hooks of Joanne and Emilia's songs. One columnist describes their sound as "REM driving around in a Buick with the Indigo Girls" or "The B-52s lurking in a dark alley with The Ramones."

I'm a life long guitarist who loves rock, funk, and electronic music, so I try to blend all of those worlds together into my own musical universe. Guitars used are Mayones Hydra Elite 6 & 7, Strandberg Boden Fusion NX 6T, Boden, Metal NX6 & NX7, Kiesel Osiris 6X/6, Ibanez JS 2450/1CR, Fender Precision Pro Bass, PRS SE 277 Baritone all routed thru a Fractal Audio Axe Fx III. Keys are Roland JD-Xi & RD-300NX. Percussion is Addictive Drums 2 . DAW is Ableton Live 12 Suite. Enjoy and cheers!

New Recording Artists from Seattle, 2GUYZINABASEMENT, are just that; two guys, working in the Seattle tech industry, who share a love, and now a vision, for making music THEIR WAY. After walking the parallel rocky paths of band break-ups and broken dreams, Scott and Kit have teamed up “downstairs” to take the world by storm (or at least have a ROCKIN time tryin). They don’t know where this road will lead, but they’re sure enjoying the ride!
