COAST TO COAST

I started this album as a joke and way to give myself a break from more serious projects. Basically a parody/homage to the Tony Hawk Pro Skater soundtrack, a game series near and dear to my heart. I owe it for getting me into punk (and hip hop, too). 

The album artwork is of a sign in my parking lot, put in after I broke my wrist there, well, skateboarding. Couldn't play guitar for months, got a titanium plate put in and became a cyborg terminator. 

The picture was taken by placing my iPhone 6 camera behind a Newtonian prism. You know, the rainbow and the sunlight yadda yadda. Turns out it also warps size when you look through it, which makes for some interesting shots. 

I've had that iPhone 6 for 7 years, and still counting.

We come around on the cusp of a dream where it’s a repeat of everything we did before
You know the drill with the faintest stimulations, late talk in buildings we might explore 
Want to quickly dip and haunt my lemonade, if that’s your comme tu l’aimes, my friend then go ahead 
My karma’s overdue, ignore advice some more, and when I’m saying you, I mean my shadow  
I’m not waitin for you, you’re not waiting for me, it’s a two way street unless you fade instead
You wanna go then go, take my place, and just go ahead
You know everything that I have felt, so just go right ahead, need some respite, feelin’ blue
I simply love being vague, and I’m drained so I ask
“Why are you raring to go so soon?”
Sometimes, goals get a little bit hazy when you’re lazy, feelin’ crazy but I refrain
Too many thoughts that are left to sustain
