To celebrate the Small Faces’ Induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame we are releasing   two of the band’s biggest tracks as limited edition 7” vinyl singles with picture sleeves .

They are both authentic recreations of the original UK mono singles and are limited to 2500 copies each . Available through independent record retailers worldwide as part of Record Store Day on April 21st.

They each contain a unique limited edition picture postcard.

‘Itchycoo Park’/’I’m only Dreaming’ CHARLY 102S

The band’s second single for Immediate from August 1967 is an irresistible reminder of the Summer of Love. As a contemporary review noted, ‘This is a complete gas, lyrics, sound, feeling and all’.

‘Tin Soldier’/’I Feel Much Better’ CHARLY 103S

The band’s third single for Immediate from December 1967 is an aching love letter from Steve Marriott to his wife-to-be. An early and rarely matched example of the fusion of rock and soul.

The last five years have seen a massive programme of tape recovery and upgrading with the full co-operation and endorsement of both surviving band members. Kenney Jones has given access to his personal tape archive and many of the band’s original master tapes and session multi-tracks, previously lost for over forty years, have been discovered and re-mastered. It is thus now possible to present the Small Faces’ recordings sounding better than at any time since the 1960s. The Re-Masters series also presents a host of newly discovered tracks and alternative versions, alongside original artwork, photos, rare publicity material and memorabilia with comprehensive new sleeve-notes based around band interviews.

Joe Jackson - IS SHE REALLY GOING OUT WITH HIM

RiDDimCheF began spinning reggae and funk in 1979 when along with Roy Longbottom he formulated the Joe Average Sound System. The sound became a big hit at parties and pubs in the Clacton area.
  Around 81 they secured a residency at the Westcliff Hotel playing soul, jazz, ska, beat and blues on Friday nights and promoted live RnB and Psychobilly bands on Saturdays. This lasted 3 great years until the hotel eventually closed for redevelopment.
RiDDimCheF moved to London, then Coventry still playing reggae, RnB, funk and soul. A residency in Coventry for 4 yrs led to gigs in Birmingham and Leicester. After a spell working as a researcher in radio and a stint playing in Soho , he moved to Dorset and now spends much time in the Gambia where he is forging musical links and planning to relocate.
